Dr. Barbara Chang is a senior research engineer for Verisk’s extreme event solutions team in the San Francisco office. She has worked on developing risk models for global supply networks, catastrophe engineering, and disaster risk financing. She is a registered civil engineer and holds a PhD from the University of California San Diego in geotechnical engineering.
