Hemant Chowdhary

Dr. Hemant Chowdhary is an assistant vice president in the research and modeling group on the extreme event solutions team at Verisk. He works primarily on the development of the Verisk Inland Flood Model for the United States. He holds a PhD from Louisiana State University in civil engineering with a specialization in water resources and an MS in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology. His doctoral research involved multivariate hydrological modeling for risk assessment and reduction of uncertainty in parameter estimates.
