Hemant Chowdhary

Hemant Chowdhary is a Principal Scientist in AIR's Research and Modeling group, working on the development of flood models for U.S., Japan, Canada, and India. Prior to joining AIR in 2011, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University. Earlier, he worked as a Scientist at the National Institute of Hydrology in India as well as a consultant for the Hydrology Project sponsored by the World Bank. Hemant holds a Masters of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University, both in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources.
