George Williams

George Williams is a Research Associate in AIR’s Singapore office. He joined AIR in November 2021 and is responsible for running AIR’s advanced catastrophe modeling software and training others to do so, throughout Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. He earned a PhD in volcanic risk assessment from the Asian School of the Environment at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2021 and an MSc in Disaster Risk and Resilience from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2016.
