Aaron Michel

Aaron Michel joined AIR in 2013 in the Catastrophe Risk Engineering Department in San Francisco. Prior to joining AIR, Aaron was a structural engineering doctoral student investigating sustainable building materials for the construction industry. Aaron is a licensed Professional Engineer and has a background in building and bridge design, earthquake engineering, material science, and computational mechanics. At AIR, Aaron has led and contributed to numerous risk-financing projects with the World Bank, catastrophe risk engineering projects, and model development initiatives.
