On September 15, 2019, Dr. Karthik Ramanathan, Assistant Vice President and Principal Engineer at AIR, contributed to a podcast discussing why the Florida Building Code wasn’t tough enough for structures in the Panhandle to withstand Michael’s Category 5 winds in October 2018.

The podcast was organized by Lisa Miller & Associates in response to the FEMA report “Successfully Retrofitting Buildings for Wind Resistance”.
