Tuscaloosa-Birmingham Tornado

On April 27, 2011, the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham tornado—part of the larger April 22 to April 28 event—caused significant damage in Alabama with winds up to 190 mph and a damage path 80+ miles long. AIR’s survey team investigated the aftermath.
