Sudha Maheshwari is a Director in AIR’s Product Management group. With a background in geospatial technologies from academic and GIS consulting experience in the insurance, telecommunications, emergency management, government, forestry, and natural resources fields, she currently focuses on all things mapping and geospatial. Before joining AIR in 2015 as a GIS Product Manager, Sudha was Vice President and General Manager of the Solutions Division for The Sanborn Map Company. She also worked on the Urban Security Initiative at Los Alamos National Laboratory, an initiative to understand the impacts of disasters on urban systems, and conducted doctoral research on the sensitivity of FEMA’s Hazus model using GIS assessments. Sudha has taught graduate-level GIS classes at Rutgers University, University of Michigan, and Tufts University. She earned a B.Arch. from Jadavpur University, an MRP from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Rutgers University. Sudha has achieved the designation of Certified Extreme Event Modeler by completing the requirements of the AIR Institute Certified Extreme Event Modeler Program.

Katharine Stevens is a Manager of Client Services within AIR’s Consulting and Client Services group in the London office. She is responsible for providing support and services to AIR clients in the UK and continental Europe, specializing in client workflows, Touchstone implementation, and the Geospatial Analytics Module in Touchstone. Previously Katharine worked within the actuarial risk department of HSBC life and she has a BSc with honours in Mathematics from the University of Bath. She has achieved the designation of Certified Extreme Event Modeler by completing the requirements of the AIR Institute Certified Extreme Event Modeler Program.
