Specifying the Export Destination

After configuring the settings for the selected export type, you specify the destination. The destination fields depend on the export type. If you are exporting to a folder, you must make sure that the folder is correctly shared so that AIR ExportExpress can write to it.

To specify the export destination when the destination is a folder:

1.      In the Destination Path field, enter the path to the target folder using this UNC (Uniform Naming Convention) format: \\Server_Name\Shared_Folder_Name.

       Example: \\MyComputer\Exports

2.      In the File Name field, leave the default file name, or enter a new file name.

3.      Click Export to finish the export.

To specify the export destination when the destination is a database:

1.      In the Database field, select the target database, or enter the name of a new database.

2.      For exposure data, in the Exposure Prefix field, specify an identifying prefix; this field is required if you select the Exclude Insured Name and Exclude Premium broker options. For loss results, in the Project field, select a project, or enter the name of a new project; if you created a new database, the Project field is not available.

3.      Click Export to finish the export.
