Stores information regarding the peril codes when using UPX files. This information is used to convert peril codes from UPX files for use in Touchstone.

Primary Key UPXPeril

Code that represents the peril in a UPX record.

  • PAL = All licenses perils
  • PEA = All earthquake perils(shake, fire, sprinkler, Tsunami)
  • PES = Earthquake - shake only
  • PFL = Inland flood
  • PPH = Precipitation flood
  • PSH = Hurricane storm surge
  • PSL = Earthquake - sprinkler leakage only
  • PTR = Terrorism
  • PTS = Tsunami
  • PWA = All wind perils (tropical cyclone, severe storm and winter storm)
  • PWF = All wind plus fire
  • PWH = Tropical cyclone only
  • PWT = Severe thunderstorm code appears only in exports by peril. Use PWX to import these perils
  • PWW = Winter storm
  • PWX = Severe storm(wind excluding tropical cyclone)
  • PEF = Fire (Wildfire, fire following earthquake)
  • PNC = NonCat
