It is hard to believe, but since In Focus was launched on February 24, 2014, we have published 500 blogs! A total of 138 subject matter experts from AIR’s teams of scientists and engineers, actuaries and statisticians, software developers, and business analysts have contributed. Among us, we have covered a wide range of topics from hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes to cyber insurance pricing, reinsurance portfolio optimization, and marijuana-related liability. There are many more to come.
Blogging is a user-friendly way for us to provide you with industry-related news and commentary, insights into natural catastrophes and catastrophe modeling, some useful tips, and hopefully have a little fun along the way. (Our fourth Hurricane Contest is in progress!)
