Position: Software Engineer (Model Group)

Description:
The position requires you to work closely with a team of modelers, engineers, analysts, etc. to develop/implement natural and manmade hazard models that are used to estimate and manage financial risk.
Main responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Understand the research catastrophe models and implement them into the framework.
- Enhance information for hazard data applications.

Description:
The business of analyzing and managing risk from both natural catastrophes and a man–made environment is growing rapidly. It has proven to be immune to the economic slowdown that has affected the other industries in the recent past. We are looking for candidates capable of using their analytical skills in assessing catastrophic risks—one of the important domains of AIT. The position requires an understanding of AIR's products used by actuaries, underwriters, risk managers and investment professionals to understand, analyse and manage their catastrophic risk and maximize their organizational potential.
Main responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Work with catastrophic risk assessment models, property exposure and loss data, along with other general insurance aspects.
- Perform sophisticated risk analysis using AIR's cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries in the expanding business of catastrophe risk management globally.
- Recommend new approaches to risk management for use by AIR and its clients.
- Work with a high-powered team of professionals to understand and enhance risk-modeling techniques.
- Test implementation of models into AIR's software by analyzing catastrophic loss estimates from various perspectives.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of MS office tools.

Description:
The candidate should be capable of working with the AIT's growing technology environment and networking group for the Indian operations.
Main responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Evaluating user needs and system functionality.
- Ensuring that ICS facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects.
- Planning, developing and implementing the ICS budget and obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Scheduling upgrades and security backups/recovery of hardware and software systems.
- Researching and installing new systems.
- Ensuring the smooth running of all ICS systems, Network Security/LAN/WAN/Internet/Email administration, including anti-virus software and print services.

Position: Client Support Associate / Sr. Associate

Description:
As a member of AIT’s Client Support Services group, the candidate requires to coordinate with the clients and address their requests, queries, observations on AIR’s products licensed by them such as catastrophe risk assessment software applications, catastrophe risk analysis services, and weather data products. The companies that are using AIR products include insurers, reinsures, brokers and other companies worldwide.

- Develop in-depth knowledge of the models and property exposure data input into the models

- Provide prompt and knowledgeable support to our clients by telephone/email and, when appropriate, by on-site visits
- Troubleshoot and solve client software problems

Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in CAT modeling
