tGeography Table
Description

Stores the post-validation geographical area information used for display on the user interface. Imported exposure data is written to tblAreaExternal, which is validated using stored procedure airsp_ValidateArea. After validation, records in tGeography are updated to match the content of tblAreaExternal.

Code that represents the highest resolution to which the location was validated.

 CountryCode

ISO 2-character code for the country.

 Subarea2Code

Area level code at a finer resolution than postal.  This is populated when a country has more than four codes. This field is used by three countries:

  • Mexico: the PostalCode, which refers to the LocalityCode
  • New Zealand: contains CrestaPostalAreaUnit
  • Japan: contains Sonpo Codes, which are remapped to a Prefecture, KU, or Yubin

 Subarea2Name

Subarea2 name.

VarChar255  
 LatitudeLatitude coordinate for the record.  Values will be positive for locations north of the equator and negative south of the equator.Numeric9 (9,6)  
 LongitudeLongitude coordinate for the record.  Values will be negative for locations west of the prime meridian up to the international date line. They will be positive for locations east of the prime meridian.Numeric9 (9,6)  
 CountryGeographySIDUnique system-generated sequential identifier for the country record.Integer4  
 CRESTAGeographySIDUnique system-generated sequential identifier for the CRESTA record. This field will not be populated when the AreaGeographySID field contains a value.  Integer4
